AREA3 project managed a major refurbishment of a Global Switch data centre. The project included the ground floor reception, network operation centre (NOC) and offices within the existing building in Sydney’s CBD.
This project was split across 3 stages involving design management, significant stakeholder engagement, logistics, management of sub-contractors and the diligent sequencing of works in a live, highly sensitive occupied environment.
Throughout the staged delivery program, AREA3 achieved a high-quality standard of finish which improved the working environment for staff and customers whilst meeting Global Switch’s financial and program requirements.
Following the highly successful launch of Stage 1 of Global Switch Sydney East, we chose to extend our relationship with AREA3 from Stage 1 into Stages 2 and 3 due to their professionalism, knowledge of mission-critical infrastructure projects, and the high quality of their work
