AREA3 oversaw the design and construction of a new science laboratory and research facility for Macquarie University in Sydney.
The facility has a building footprint of approximately 3500m2 and consists of several controlled environment rooms, specialist laboratory spaces, microscopy areas, administrative office space, and associated building infrastructure.
This state of the art facility provided additional space for activities associated with current research grants. These project include new techniques in raising insects, fruit fly innovation and was completed in late 2018
